Hi, I'm Shawn Goff, founder of Dockside Fenders and owner of SRG Yacht Management.

As a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, I've spent years managing and operating high-end boats and luxury yachts throughout New England. My clients trust me to protect some of their most valuable investments, and I've always believed in using the very best equipment available.

Over the years, I found myself dealing with the same frustrations over and over again. Every time the wind picked up or a storm rolled through, I worried about whether traditional hanging fenders were still in the right position. I was constantly adjusting fenders, replacing faded or torn covers, and cleaning marine growth that built up over time.

I also wanted to make life easier for my crew. First mates already have enough to manage during arrivals and departures without spending extra time tying fenders, adjusting lines, and finding storage space for bulky fenders underway.

While traditional fenders served a purpose, they never felt like a premium solution. I wanted something cleaner, more professional, and always ready to do its job.

That vision led to the creation of Dockside Fenders—a permanent dock-mounted protection system designed to provide reliable protection, reduce maintenance, and deliver the premium appearance and performance today's boat owners expect.

Every Dockside Fender is built with the same mindset I bring to every yacht I manage: protect the investment, use the best materials available, and never settle for "good enough."
